Mail-In Ballot Processing Center — General Election

• Your job: Process mail-in ballot envelopes one at a time.
• Step 1 - Inspect: Check the voter's signature against the registration record. Check envelope condition. Identify which party the voter is registered with (shown as a colored dot).
• Step 2 - Count: Place valid ballots into the ballot counter. Each vote goes into the official count.
• Step 3 - File: Put the counted ballot into the COUNTED BOX, or risk a double-count by putting it back in the COUNTER.
• Your Party: Choose RED or BLUE. Count your party's ballots. Reject opposition ballots with plausible reasons.
• Rejection Reasons: Bad signature, damaged envelope, missing registration, expired ID, wrong precinct - each has different scrutiny costs and plausibility.
• SCRUTINY METER: Poll observers watch your work. Too much cheating = GAME OVER. Scrutiny slowly decays when you process honestly.
• AUDITS: Random audits check your recent decisions. If you rejected too many valid ballots, you'll be caught!
• Daily Quotas: Each day has a target margin. Meet it to advance. 5 days total.
